Cities XL 2012 – “The Fabulous” Canyon (1.2 Million Population)

Cities XL 2012 -

I’m sorry that bugs always occured when I play this game, so the cars turn to black boxes Important notes: I’m pretty sure that you don’t know the background music. It is called “Rainbows” and it is sang by a Hong Kong (Chinese) singer, Janice Vidal. It is okay if you dislike the music, then mute the volume. Due to extremely lag when recording using Fraps, I cannot take any videos, so I just show the screenshots. Some mods are used in my city Information about my city: This city was inspired by “The Fabulous Las Vegas”. In order to make my city realistic and make sense, I observed the buildings in my neighbourhoods, and places over my hometown, Hong Kong and also plenty of satellite photos of Amercian cities. This is to ensure that my city won’t look weird.I also avoided using the “square zone tool” when zoning neighbourhoods. Since I am a Hongkonger, the city I made was quite Hong Kong (or Canton style), with many skyscrapers. This city has plenty offices, it is also self-sufficent in industries (include all 3 kinds) and food resources. (Although it suffers from pollution, it is still an attractive metropolis). The only things that have to be imported is water and fuel. This city has reached a stable state, with postive government income, balanced tokens and population. Also, most citizens satisfied living in the city. The only major problem is the traffic congestion, which confused me very much. But I guess it is a common problem in all famous cities in reality, isn’t it?
