We have gone through countless tests in order to find the right ratios to make it to reach its full flavor. While you are welcome to try to add your own style to each recipe, it is not recommended until you have mastered the art of the original recipe. As with cooking anything, preparation is crucial to the process going smoothly. We find that it works best to have all of the ingredients for the dish measured and chopped in an orderly fashion. These recipes often contain very small ingredients which can be overlooked if not properly prepared prior to cooking.

Lets get started with a recipe on how to cook fried rice.

Preparing fried rice is not an extremely difficult task. The whole process including preparation and cooking takes about twenty minutes to a half hour. Depending on your personal preferences, you may wish to add or subtract some of the ingredients listed which will affect the total time. This should give you a better understanding on how to make fried rice at home.


The first and most important necessary ingredient is rice of course! We recommend 3-4 cups of refrigerated long grain white rice.

The next ingredient is soy sauce. 1.5 to 2 teaspoons is a number that we find works well. Oyster sauce can also be used if that is your personal preference.

4 tablespoons of vegetable oil

1-2 onions based on personal preference

to 1 teaspoon pepper

to 1 teaspoon of salt

Optional ingredients include:

1-2 eggs

Shredded carrots



Frying pan or wok

Large spoon


Preparing the Ingredients

Make sure all of the ingredients are readily accessible. This includes making sure that the rice is precooked, chopping up the onions, beating the eggs and basically making sure that you will not have to search for anything in the middle of the cooking process. This will save you a lot of time in the kitchen. When everything is ready, it is time to begin the cooking process.

Cooking the Fried Rice

The first step is to put the wok or frying pan on the burner and turn the heat to medium high. Allow it to heat a little and add half of the vegetable oil amount that you will be using. When the bottom is coated reduce the heat to medium and add the eggs. Cook until finished and then remove them from the pan. Clean out the residue in the pan and add the rest of the vegetable oil. Add all of the rice. Using the large spoon, stir occasionally for a few minutes. The next step is to add in the oyster or soy sauce. After a minute or so, add in the rest of the ingredients. This includes the finished scrambled eggs. Stir a few more times and allow the ingredients to form a nice mixture. When hot, remove from burner, place in bowl, serve and enjoy!

Cook Chinese Food – Braised Crucian Carp

Crucian is fresh in taste, rich in roe and delicious in flavor; and can be braised, steamed and boiled. Because it’s eutrophy and consists of plenty of protein, it’s good for health to eat this kind of fish frequently. It’s also helpful for office workers to not only make the skin bouncy but also relax and improve sleeping, for the dry and stuffy working environment.

Materials: a carp of 420g, half onions, two soaked mushrooms, and two slices of ginger

Seasonings: a cup of cooking oil, a spoon of soy, half spoon of corn flour, a spoon of cooking wine, a third of salt, half spoon of chicken powder

Get started:

1. Eviscerate and wash the carp, sideling cut twice both its sides, blot it up with kitchen towel, and wipe it with corn flour evenly. Clean the roe.

2. Cut off the head and tail of the onions, pat and segment it. Capped and shred the mushrooms.

3. Heat a cup of oil, and fry the fish and roe till both sides of the fish get golden. Out of pot.

4. Heat a spoon of oil. Fry the ginger, mushrooms and onions till fragrant. Boil with half bottle of water.

5. Mix with the cooking wine, seafood sauce, salt and chicken powder, and put in fried fish and roe. Cover the pot and braise over a soft fire for about 10 minutes, then strong fire till it’s getting dry. Great job!


1. Sprinkle a little bit of salt in the boiled oil before fry the roe for water in the roe easily explodes in hot oil.

2. Blot up the fish and wipe with corn flour; wipe the pot with ginger after heated before pour oil so that the carp won’t be peeled in hot oil.

3. Clear away teeth in the throat to remove the mud taste.

4. Be gently when frying and braising in case of breaking the bond or skin.

Sprinkle evenly a little bit of vinegar in the fish after it’s in the dish; this not only embellishes the color and flavor, but also prevents nutrition loss.

The first Chinese style building, which is now a bank, was once home to the Pacific Telephone and Telegraph Company at 743 Washington Street. Chinatown itself is the most densely populated neighborhood in San Francisco and one of the most densely populated in the entire country of the United States.

Its late estimated population was well over one hundred thousand and five hundred people, which is over two-thirds of the entire Chinese population in the city. It is also one of the poorer areas, where the average household income is a little over forty thousand dollars a year.

1 piece egg white (large)

1 teaspoon cold water

4 cups whole almonds

1/2 cup raw sugar

1/4 teaspoon sea salt

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Preparation Instructions:

1. Preheat your oven to about 250 degrees Fahrenheit (120 degrees Celsius).

2. Grease your 10×15 inches jelly roll pan or tin pan coated in cooking spray.

3. Beat the egg white lightly then add water. Beat it until frothy. Add the nuts and coat it evenly by tossing.

4. Evenly spread it over the pan and bake for about an hour until golden brown, with occasional stirring. Store in airtight containers after it cooled down. This recipe lasts for a few weeks to months, or depends on who knows where it is hidden. Most people can’t take their hands off it.

1 1/2 pounds fresh green beans, trimmed

1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil

1 tablespoon unsalted butter

sea salt


A handful Toasted slivered or sliced almonds, for garnish

½ cup mushrooms (optional), diced

Preparation Instructions:

1. Boil some water and cook the green beans for about five minutes. Drain the beans and return to the same pan to heat.

2. With oil and butter, toss the beans and season with salt and pepper. Add the mushroom for a more hearty taste.

3. Garnish it with almonds and you are good to go.

Healthy cooking does not need any complex procedures and ingredients you have never heard of. Heck, I even don’t have the patience to cook.
